How does LIKEtoKNOWit App Work?
LIKEtoKNOW.it App is an influencer shopping app where you can shop products recommended by your favorite influencers. Every image on Like To Know It is shoppable through linked products. When you find an image on the app (or on social media – more on that later) that you want to shop you will click on the individual product images below each photo. This will lead you to each products shop page where you will purchase directly from the retailer. Brands elect to be on the LTK platform and provide a small commission to influencers when products are purchased through the links they share.
Can anyone get a LIKEtoKNOWit?
Yes anyone can download the free app and create a LIKEtoKNOW.it account to shop all the content. Bloggers and influencers may also post their links other places where you don’t need to use the app to shop, or you can shop on their website. You will need the app to shop screenshots but more on that later. If you want to get on LIKEtoKNOW.it as an Influencer you can either recieve an email invite from an Influencer who has already been accepted to the program or fill out an application on their website.
There are certain criteria they look for to accept you onto the app and then once you are accepted you need to have certain amount of posts and likes to your content to remain active on the app.
Does LIKEtoKNOWit App cost money?
LTK does not cost any money. It is free to download the app and create and account. It is also free to apply to become a content creator on the app. When you purchase through posts or creators that you like you are shopping directly through the retailer’s website so the price of the product you are purchasing is not being raised in any way.
How do you shop a screenshot on Like To Know It?
To shop a screenshot you have to be sure you are screenshotting LIKEtoKNOW.it-enabled looks. To spot a LIKEtoKNOW.it enabled image look for influencer posts on Instagram, and elsewhere with captions containing both the ‘http://liketk.it‘ link and ‘#liketkit’ hashtag or LIKEtoKNOW.it logo in the bottom corner. Most creators are good at letting you know when you can shop their post on LTK!
Once you screenshot a LIKEtoKNOW.it-enabled look it will automatically match in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app in the Favorite Posts section. To shop your matched LIKEtoKNOW.it screenshots navigate to your My Favorite Posts tab on the app.
Can you search an item on LTK?
Yes you can search specific items or creators on Like To Know It. For example, if you are in the market for a coffee table or a new pair of jeans and you would like to search through multiple creator posts to find ideas you can easily do that.
