My mom is probably one of the greatest entertainers I know. She always knows how to make a magnificent spread, and no one ever lacks food or drinks. When my dad was alive, he always ensured you had a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine in your hand and felt entirely at ease. So many recipes have been staples in gatherings my parents have hosted over the years, and this green chile quiche appetizer is one of the favorites.

What are diced green chilies used for?

Diced green chilies are an easy addition to eggs, omelets, quiches, and breakfast burritos for a pop of flavor. Add to soups, stews, and chilis for a mild roasted taste.

What can I do with a can of green chilies?

One of our family’s favorite uses for a can of diced green chilies is this super simple four-ingredient chile quiche appetizer.

Since it is so incredibly quick and easy to throw together and has only four ingredients, you will be amazed at its deliciousness. You could honestly sit and eat a plate of it. Trust me; we always have a hard time keeping our hands off it when it comes out of the oven!

You do not have to use Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese; any extra sharp cheddar will do. My family has always loved Cracker Barrel brand cheese. This is not an ad, but it should be for how much we use it! However, I would say to stick with the extra sharp cheddar because that adds all the flavor.

You could throw it in a pie plate or any shallow baking dish. I recommend using a 10-inch round quiche baking dish like this one.

We typically like to serve this dip with Carr’s Table Water Crackers, but any crackers will do! Depending on how many people you are serving, you may not have any leftovers, but if you do, this is equally good to warm up for a snack later on!

I hope you, your friends, and your family all enjoy this delicious Chile Quiche Appetizer!
