My mom is probably one of the greatest entertainers I know. She always knows how to put out a magnificent spread and no one ever lacks for food or drinks. When my dad was alive he would always make sure you had a cocktail, beer or glass of wine in your hand and were feeling completely at ease. There are many recipes that have been staples in gatherings my parents have hosted over the years and this chili quiche appetizer is one of the favorites.
Since it is so incredibly quick and easy to throw together and only 4 ingredients, you will be amazed at just how delicious it is. You could honestly just sit and eat a plate of it, and trust me we always have hard time keeping our hands off of it when it first comes out of the oven!
You do not have to us Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, any extra sharp cheddar will do. My family has always loved Cracker Barrel brand cheese (and no this is not an add but it should be for how much we us it!) I would say to stick with the extra sharp cheddar though because that adds all of the flavor.
You could throw it in a pie plate or any shallow baking dish but I would recommend using a 10 in round quiche baking dish like this one.
We typically like to serve this dip with Carr’s Table Water Crackers but any crackers will do! Depending on how many people you are serving you may not have any left over but if you do this is equally good warmed up for a snack later on!
I hope you, your friends and family all enjoy this delicious Chili Quiche Appetizer!
