Here’s an explanation of how insulated cups work so you can enjoy your beverages at the perfect temperature all day. Here’s the short version: Insulated cups work by trapping heat (or cold) inside the cup and preventing it from escaping. This is possible because insulated cups have two walls with a layer of air in between. The air layer acts as a barrier, slowing the transfer of heat (or cold) and keeping your drink at the right temperature for longer. Brumate vs. Yeti
When I first started using Brumate, Yeti and Brumate carried utterly different products, and Yeti was substantially more expensive. Since then, Yeti and Brumate have expanded their product lines, so there is some overlap, and Yeti seems to have come down a little in price. I only have one Yeti tumbler, so I don’t know how the rest of the product line compares. In my opinion, they are both high quality and work exceptionally well. The most significant benefit of Brumate for me is the wide variety of styles and colors. Yeti is going to be more subtle. I am all for fun colors and sparkly designs. Beer and Can Coolers – my first experience with the Brumate was the can cooler. I used the Hopsulater slim for my skinny cans like White Claws. My sisters and I have brought these on many trips with us, and they keep your drinks extremely cold. They have expanded their line and have so many options for all sizes of cans and bottles.
Wine and Champagne Tumblers – From the Winesulator that holds a whole bottle of wine to the Uncork’d XL that will hold half a bottle of wine and keep it chilled. As well as the Champagne Flute which is twice the size of a standard champagne flute and has a flip-top lid that seals to hold in the bubbles.
Shakers and Water Bottles – The multi-shaker will hold up to 26 oz, includes an agitator/infuser to blend your protein shakes, and is insulated to keep them cold. The 25 oz insulated water bottle has a leakproof, sip-through straw lid and carrying handle.
